As an authorized converter of DuPont ™ Tyvek® , the installation of one of the industry’s most sophisticated air-knife coating production lines equips Technipaq with the unique ability to also apply proprietary coatings to DuPont ™ Tyvek® products in-house.

This places Technipaq amongst a small group of medical packaging manufacturers who can claim such capabilities.

What is Techni-Coat?

Techni-Coat, also known as TC-101, is a specialized coating designed to enhance the performance and reliability of medical packaging materials by providing sealablity and peelability.. By leveraging advanced air-knife coating technology, we apply precise, uniform coatings to different grades of Tyvek® and medical papers. Techni-Coat is ideal for a wide range of medical packaging applications, from pouches and lid stock to flexible films and sealing to rigid plastics.

Compatible With a Wide Array of Materials

Material Compatibility

Techni-Coated products are designed to be compatible with a broad range of materials, ensuring versatility and reliability across various applications. From being sealed to rigid trays and plastics such as HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene), PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol),HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), PP (Polypropylene) and PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), to flexible firms of PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), Polyethylenes, Polypropylenes and Nylon, Techni-Coated products are compatible with a wide range of materials for healthcare products.

Sterilization Compatibility

Techni-Coat’s TC-101 HSC Tyvek® products are compatible with multiple sterilization methods, ensuring that your medical devices and packaging maintain their sterility and functionality. The compatibility with these sterilization techniques highlights the robustness and adaptability of our materials in the medical field.

Ethylene Oxide (ETO) Sterilization

Ethylene oxide gas is widely used for sterilizing medical devices that cannot withstand high temperatures. Techni-Coat’s Tyvek® materials maintain their structural integrity and sterile barrier properties after exposure to EtO, ensuring that medical devices remain safe and sterile.

Gamma Sterilization

Gamma sterilization is an effective method that uses high-energy gamma rays to eliminate microorganisms. Techni-Coat’s Tyvek® products are designed to withstand gamma sterilization without compromising their integrity, making them ideal for critical medical applications.
